TIPS

Remember to always bring cash, Banks and ATMs are not everywhere in Patagonia. In Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales you can find both of them, if you go to Tierra del Fuego, in Porvenir you can find an ATM.

Weather is changing and unstable, in a very same day you can experience rough gusts of wind and frozen cold, and radiant sunshine with stifling heat. As we have said before, the best thing to do is to wear layers of clothing.

Patagonia is an area of constant wind, especially during spring-summer; it can reach an average speed of 30 to 40 km / hr.

There are hotels and stores that accept USD, but not EUR, it is less likely. Money exchange offices can be found that accept USD and EUR, there you can exchange them for Chilean pesos, besides the Bank.
